This variant of the D0836 uses Selective Catalytic Reduction as the sole NOx reduction technology — there is no EGR circuit to partially recirculate exhaust gas into the intake, which means that air cleaner restriction has a more immediate and direct effect on combustion quality, fuel efficiency, and SCR catalyst performance than on EGR-equipped engines. The housing includes the integrated mounting bracket, rubber inlet elbow, outlet duct with turbocharger connection flange, and the restriction indicator port. Made in Czech Republic. Replace the complete housing when the plastic body is cracked, when the outlet duct sealing flange is damaged or warped, or when the housing latches are broken and no longer seal the element correctly — air bypassing the filter element at any gap causes rapid compressor erosion.
